The visuals of smoking are so much more powerful than smoking itself: ’twas such a central feature of popular films until it became so very unPC. Whilst one can certainly decide not to smoke, some expressions of the aforesaid attitudes make one feel compelled light up a cigar in a yuppie bar. 😁
I have never smoked, and I’ve only ever dated one woman who smoked. I agree the visuals can look sexy, but the actuality is quite unpleasant.
