Road Trip

some beautiful roads can’t be discovered without getting lost

As my Christmas vacation plans are totally screwed, I may take a long road trip instead.

And, when in the USA, I do like to rent a Mustang.

Or a Jaguar

Of course, in Europe I prefer something smaller

  1. I rarely go on road trips with someone, the few times I have were fun. However, I much prefer being able to stop and wander a bit. Unless it is in a hot area where there are mean snakes or bugs. I recall one stop we made when the boys were small. We got out and scrambled back moments later in with a million mosquitoes. The boys don’t remember much about that historical monument, but they sure remembered the skeeters!!!!

    1. I went on a road trip this year with a special friend. We stopped at Meteor Crater near Flagstaff AZ, and nobody will tell you that up on the crater rim you get eaten alive by bugs, I have never seen so many mosquitoes in my life.
But I do like road trips with a special friend riding shotgun. ❤

      1. I wonder what made the skeeters live up there? 🤔🤔🤔.
They need to be fun friends. 🙂🙂🙂

        1. It’s got to be one of the driest places in America ~ they must breed in the cattle drinking troughs. I think the mosquitoes go up to the crater rim to eat the tourists.
