  3. I am the sun. I am seen as fortunate because by all appearances, the horizon implies I get to be with both of them. But really, it’s a matter of distance and perspective. I conjure the image of beauty and magic when in all truth, too much exposure to me gets people burned (no matter how I try to shield, prevent or spin it)

      1. Yes, basically. Shadow and light… I can be either and/or both as they’re just metaphorical terms used to describe the visual type of filter we place on our souls. There’s my soul looking out at the world, and the souls of the world looking back at me. By people’s need to deceive themselves and apply extra layers of lies, these shadowy apparitions cause confusion and fear. Like the shade of a cloud, these appearances of phantoms ultimately call for more “protective” layers to be heaped on until everyone is just a mummified version of themself: an undead, powerless, restrained and bound pharoah of their own inner wasteland.
