On Being Psychic

Almost everyone is comfortable with intuition,
almost nobody is really comfortable with psychic power.

the eyes are windows to the soul

For most of my adult life I have had an uncanny ability to read people, to instantly understand moods and situations, to know that someone is lying to me.  Over the past few years I have been in a long distance relationship, and without even speaking to her or chatting with her, I generally know what’s going on with my friend in California.  She can wake me from a deep sleep just by thinking about me.  If it involves me or my Californian friend, then sometimes I know what is probably going to happen in the future.

These things are not explainable by natural laws, until you get into the world of quantum physics where things like spooky connections, (quantum entanglement), are the norm and not the exception.

I firmly believe that thinking and feeling beings are also affected by spooky connections, and that true psychic abilities exist.  Dogs can detect cancer and predict earthquakes~ how?

For example; my personal astrologer knows me and knows all about me, even though we have never met, and the most important information I have ever given her is the date, time, and place of my birth.  When I say she knows me it’s almost as though she has bugged my apartment and has cameras watching everything I do.  She also predicts my future with uncanny accuracy.

I truly believe that I am also cursed with psychic abilities.  Over the past few days I have stopped suppressing my unnatural intuition and allowed free rein to any sixth sense or second sight I may have.  It’s already got me into trouble with my Californian friend.

Also, allowing psychic forces to manifest themselves is driving a very strong need for self-improvement and self-development deep within me.  Mostly this drive includes the following weird stuff;

  • a need to eat less meat
  • a very low tolerance of overeating and eating rich foods
  • a total repulsion of processed food and junk food
  • a total intolerance to booze
  • a strong desire to explore, new places, new situations, new people
  • an inability to sit still, I continually need to be doing stuff
  • my creativity has exploded into fascinating areas
  • utter intolerance of procrastination and being late
  • a very low tolerance for things that I think and feel are wrong
  • utter fascination with self-improvement and self-development
  • a need to more deeply connect with my Muse / Goddess / Spiritual Guide

Some say that the Cosmos is filled with unseen energy vibrations.  And that what we think, feel, and desire are driven by this cosmic energy.  All I know is that it’s better for me if I never tell anyone that I can read them like a book.

ancient philosophers and modern quantum physicists believe that Time is not a straight line

time is curved ~ the past, present, and future run in parallel

  1. Excellent article thank you for sharing. As a psychic myself I teach people on how to develop their abilities. We are all psychic we are born with this ability or should I say abilities. I can read others through many of my abilities such as clairvoyance, psychometry and more.

  2. I like to call it being in touch with the universe, just ask my husband, I live in that space every waking/sleeping moment. I find it exhilarating and it makes me feel so light. I was walking at work one day and my head was in a really good place and I felt like as I walked down the hall I was levitating, it freaked me out for a moment but I relaxed and just went with it, and writing, I couldn’t tell you what I wrote once it falls out of my head, I couldn’t tell you what I wrote yesterday or even the post I put on a few hours ago. Let it flow, its the best thing and encourages more and more ❤ excellent post sweetie ❤

  4. I will hazard a guess, that you meditate? Most psychic people have learned the skill of meditation, because the delta wave patters of the brain are when people are able to tap into the mystical powers of the universe. Meditators get into the delta wave pattern fairly easily. Just a thought?

    1. I meditate, and sometimes the Goddess speaks to me.
That is uplifting and a little bit scary.

  5. I theorize that those of us who have highly developed intuitive abilities (or are “psychic”) are able to tune into things at a subliminal level – there’s a way in which more attention is paid. And astrology certainly works – as a personality assessment tool, it’s better than Myers-Briggs – and ‘way more fun. 🙂 Good astrologers are usually able to make accurate predictions. For example, many years ago when I studied astrology, I decided to explore eclipses. I noted a definite connection between air crashes and eclipses (as well as the usual “expect the unexpected” kinds of things).
This was a great post – intriguing subjects. Perhaps you’ll write more about this sometime. 💕

    1. I drove 900 miles to see a total eclipse of the sun
my girl did not feel it
      I did

      1. Not surprised you sensed it. Eclipses are major events which can often influence us in vividly felt ways (which sometimes repeat themselves for months and even years to come).

        2. 🙂 Well, sure, it’s the internet. 🙂 All in the spirit of the Outfit (as the Chicago wiseguys were/are called) – being tight-lipped was taken very, very seriously indeed. 🙂

  7. Love this. Touched on it a little a couple of posts ago. I don’t claim to be psychic but things have happened to me and I have felt things that are inexplicable.

    You know?

    1. I know that you can see into the unseen, and that you read more into what I write than the words say.
You are cool, and you can quote Shakespeare in context.
      You should be my date.

Your date to what? The Intuitive Ball, where people don’t actually turn up, but envision the perfect night then project that night onto their love interest?
