Answered Prayers

My muse as always, is Aphrodite. ~ Shakespeare in Love

my goddess of love, sorceress, divine spirit,

you were there when I needed you most,

when I was lonely, miserable and lost,

drifting aimlessly from pillar to post,

you visited in dreams as a ghost,

and as a goddess lifted me up,

for that I shall you worship,

forever, no matter what,

you live in my heart.

  4. I once rented a therapy room (as a massage therapist) in a small spa called ‘Aphrodite.’
That name brought good and bad into my business. As an injury specialist, I was bonafide, and I had a thriving business, but that name also brought perverts and under cover police who perceived ‘Aphrodite’ to have a covert meaning. In reality, the owner was Greek, and he wanted to purvey the idea of feeling beautiful, healthy, loving and happy. How people perceive Aphrodite depends on their view of the world.
Let there be Love, light, health and happiness… πŸ˜‰πŸ’Ÿ

    1. Your story is both really cool and quite shocking.
Maybe it’s fair to say that some guys are just utterly total jerks.
Why am I unsurprised that ‘Plod’ thought Aphrodite meant perverts?
      Stay cool sweetheart. ❀ ❀ ❀
