The Great Truths

There are some Great and Noble Truths ~ these are mine.

Life is difficult and painful.

The causes of my problems and pain are my own cravings, desires, wants, needs, lusts, and my blaming of others when Life isn’t how I want it to be.

I cannot change what happens to me, but I can change how I react, and I can change what I do.

The path to freedom from suffering and pain is through self-discipline in body, mind, and spirit.

The lonely Warrior’s Path has only one ending ~ walk it in honour, and with love.

  3. Ah, Jack, I like your Great and Nobel truths. The wonderful thing about life is everyone can have their own Great and Nobel truths and still exist within harmony with others. The one that differs from yours, for me, is freedom from pain and suffering occurs when I accept them as part of my journey. They help bring me wisdom and challenge me to grow, to not become complacent. They also help me to appreciate peace and tranquility when I find it. ❤ ❤ ❤ ~Patti

      1. Thank you, Jack, although I’m not sure I deserve admiration. I fall flat on my face most times trying to live up to what I believe. You may have just given me some insight into understanding something I’ve always struggled with. Thank you. ❤ ❤ ❤
