2017 Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

The best laid plans of mice and men often go pear-shaped.

For one reason and another my plans for this year’s Christmas and New Year’s holidays did not work at all, and I had to spend the holiday season alone in the garret again.  And, being alone over the holidays is incredibly depressing.

I had wanted to go to the USA to spend the holidays with friends, and I had even gone so far as to book and pay for my airline tickets ~ (a non-refundable $800).  But, that didn’t work out at all.  I did’t go to the USA or any where father or more exciting than my local store.

I have resolved never to spend the Christmas and New Year’s holidays in the garret ever again.

I have one other New Year’s Resolution; to do a lot more of the things I want to do, things that will help me to achieve my goals, desires, and dreams, and to do a Hell of a lot less of the things other people might want me to do.

To help me with that I have a beautiful workbook sent to me by a friend; ‘Rituals For Living, Dreambook + Planner‘.  If I work through it diligently I should get a very clear idea of what I really want from life.

One of the things I most want to is to go back to Santa Monica ~ which means going to California again, and I very much like long road trips in California.  Especially if I can find a cool girl to ride shotgun in the car with me.

  8. Holidays can truly wear on a soul. Especially when you are alone with people….not cool. This particular one was dubious for me, as well. It’s over and now the next year can start.
Blessings on your next year and may it be full of balance and dreams fulfilled.

    1. Not all holidays are fun, especially if you can’t be with the one you would like to be with.
But, I believe 2018 will be a FUN year for me, and for those I care for.
May your 2018 be filled with fun, love, peace, health, wealth, and happiness.
Wishing you all the very best. ❤ ❤ ❤

      1. I usually think too much often holidays..that tends to lead to a downward spiral and ends up in a hole. BAD. It is better to think of good friends and fun things to imagine!
